摘要:The electromagnetic stability issues of the gird-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) wind turbine (WT) system are usually overlooked. This paper presents a reduced order model to analyze DFIG WT system's electromagnetic dynamics in dc-voltage control time scale, especially in the case of large disturbance. The DFIG WT is equivalent to two controlled current sources paralleled with a reactance. An instability phenomenon similar to the rotor angle instability of synchronous generator is uncovered and the reasons are explained. It shows that DFIG WT may be loss of synchronization if the phase of controlled current varies too much in one direction.
